I also have a poll and, although it is a personal poll and not one 'sanctioned' by WGT, my fascination with human nature, and inability to comprehend how people, and or businesses or organizations, are able to justify certain things to themselves, when they make no sense at all, is peaking over this topic.
This has 3 options for answers, 1 for yes, 2 for no, & 3 for I must be an idiot.
Question-Are you willing to buy your favorite ball, at a higher price, when the only difference in the ball is that it is a different color than white, or has a virtual "vapor trail"?
If you answered 1 for yes to that question, here is a follow up question for you. Would you pay 10-20% more money for a car, with the only difference being that it was yellow instead of white, and yellow is your favorite color?
If you answered 1 to the 1st question and 2 to the 2nd question, if you add those together you end up at 3. That's the only reasonable explanation I can come up with regarding this particular subject.
WGT, feel free to keep my Nike's white and even lose the vapor if you so choose. As long as the ball performs the same being just plain white and doesn't leave, basically what a jet engine produces behind it, I seriously doubt I will ever notice I don't have those features that cost extra, for no reason at all.
Forgive me please, I am remiss. I did not think of the very costly expenditure that WGT incurs when their programmers use that expensive paint from that program.....oh yeah, Paint!
