    DrSlick:
It appears so far that with the L61s I can get away with missing the ding(on the correct side of course) and still have a decent shot.

The 33 Callaway is superior in this regard, IMO. There's always a trade off when you start playing with meter speeds and it usually manifests itself in the results of a missed ding-the slower the meter, the worse the result in most cases.

I switch between the 71 Nike and the 33 Callaway where the difference between the two is .5 dot more spin on the Nike, 2 dots more in distance and .5 dots on the meter speed (slower.) The Nike definitely plays better but you can't be lax with the ding like you can with the Callaway. Plus the Callaway is $2 cheaper/sleeve.  :-)

    Jim,

I have played the cally with good results, but am way more consistent being close to ding since playing with the 61s. The 61 meter seems much slower to me than the 33. I see more scores in the 50s when playing the L61s.

But, most of my non-important matches are played with cheaper balls. But as you know, I think balls play differently for each player's game depending on aim and distance calcs.

    Tim

The level 33 Callys play better with my lvl 97 Nike irons than the lvl 81 nike ball does.

the level 81 nike balls play better with my R11 irons than than the cally's do.

    Strange but true.
