Brackets how about less than 16 for C.C.play!!!!

  Thanks for making brackets available for Country Club play!

  One request, we can only set up for 16 players, unless I'm doing something wrong, I would love to set this for 8 players or even 4 is this possible?

  Or 32 or 64. It can't be too hard to do multiples.

  Now Courteney, you're asking wayyyyyyyyy too much. You're going to short-circuit their brains...  LOL

  I'd like to see maybe a 20 bracket....but, I think in one of the rounds, the side would be short on at least one side and maybe both.

  Good idea from the OP, would help smaller clubs, but as the delectable Ms C says, other multiples would work for larger clubs.

  MS. C is closer to right than U guys thought!

  A message I received today after I asked:

  right now, no,it's not possible because each bracket has to be manually made/programmed in the initial stage. we are looking to make some 32/64 down the line but likely not smaller ones.

  Obviously this makes little sense since I also posted this on CC corner and all the replies are in agreement that it's tough enough to get 16!!!

  Ok...I got a question that maybe some of my fellow members can answer.   Say I start a bracket tourney.  100 credits to play.....6 players sign up and proceed to play their rounds...will this tourney go on with just 6 players or will it not finish and those 6 lose their 100 credits??   I sent a message to WGT about this, haven't heard back yet. 

  I kinda think its going to bite small clubs in the butt if it wont allow a finish, and I don't want my members to lose  their credits  simply because....I'd appreciate some of you smart players who have played these tourneys to let me know....or who have already set up and played a tourney already.  Thanks a lot

  I wouldn't even attempt paying this for credits at this point, thats my opinion. I set up a little tester tournament and once it got started it showed EVERYONE WD!

  Since we are new at it it did take longer than 24 hours to fill up and I would hope WGT would give clubs' a little longer to fill 16 spots, but such is the way it is ( for now)

  Before WGT made brackets available for CC's we ran our own bracket MP and Stroke play games ourselves. Can't imagine it could be very hard to run an in house bracket of only 8 or 4 players.

  For the larger clubs having 32 or 64 available would really be a help instead of one player having to manage a larger Tournament themselves.

   

  P.S. 4 players..... really? Come on try harder. ;)

  This might be easy on paper or a different program to use....lol.

  Now that the brackets are in the cc's,  there is no excuse not having 8 players as a max for small clubs. 

  At the moment.... we have a 24hr clock, which is great....  we also have, two shorter timers and they are useless for small clubs, with people spread across the world...  Whoever thought of those times to be standard...  has no Idea....lol
