  4 years ago  in the last World Cup Germany beat Argentina 4-0 in 1/4 final

  Don't know if Agentina will beat holland  tomorrow  but just to inform you

  And in any case, not the same match not the same year and in one game  everything is still possible. lol

  Some result last night, eh? I went for Brazil hoping an upset would occur and I'd leap into contention for a place among the winners..... shoulda known better. ;(

  Good to see some banter taking place during it too on here.

  Was reading the BBC live commentary on their site whilst watching the game. Some of the comments were rather funny.

  Cant remember who said;  " The only yellow top that would be seen tomorrow (today) would be the one worn by the leader of the Tour de France" 

  Robbie Savage came away with; " 5-0 to Germany and to think Brazil would still beat England" *guffaw* *chortle* 

  Anyhoos - MainzMan still sitting on top edging closer to the grand prize. Chasing pack will make for interesting viewing regarding predictions..... we'll see who has some balls or not LOL

  Good point Johnny.  I made my predictions early because I wanted to get them out there before Foresight and gdog posted theirs.  Not in order to try to force them to go for an unlikely result but because I didn't want it to seem like I was going with the same predictions as them.

  Still 24 points up for grabs, be intersting to see what tonights match will bring.  I'm sticking with Netherlands pulling off the win.
