    Brazil 5-5  Holland

That'll be a fun game to watch Steve.

I'll be kicking myself if it is the score, as I won't be placing a bet on it..

3rd and 4th place play off: I think the dutch will be still feeling the pain over this 1, and therfore wont be in the right frame of mind. Brazil will have something to play for though, to prove to the Brazillian nation that they are not that bad. So with that in mind, im going for:

    Brazil 2 - Holland 0

For the final, hmmmm, not sure about this 1, but germany have been the better side all through the competition. Argentina have been 1 of my 2 favourites to win the competition outright, with Brazil my first choice. Im thinking the German defence will be that bit stronger, so im going for this:

    Germany 2 - Argentina 1

For me, the game that no one wants to play, the 3/4th place play off is possibly the hardest game of the whole competition to predict. Neither side want to be there so this often leads to a very open and entertaining game as there is no pressure involved. I think Brazil will be more up for it so I'll go for...

    July 12 9PM Brazil  Brazil  3 v   1 Netherlands Netherlands

As for the final, my prediction before the tournament started was for Argentina to win so I guess I'll stick with them.

    July 13 8PM Germany  Germany  1  v  2 Argentina Argentina

Note to Johnny: On the first page you have the final as a 10:00 p.m (U.K. time) kick off. The final is actually kicking off at 8:00 p.m. (U.K. time). Maybe you might want to change that in case anyone is using that as a guide. They'll be a bit miffed if they tune in at 10 only to see the trophy being presented to the winners or if they're lucky they'll catch the end of extra time if it goes that far.

    Hello everyone!

Final prediction for this fun event... just wanted to add It's been real fun, and I enjoyed reading all the comments and replays.

I have not been much of a predictor myself, but I'm glad I got a better score than pierolitfiba, who is my long time fellow Italian hehehehe.

Thank you for  participating, for your donation, and for seeing it through to the end, Alberto.

@ Pierolitfiba....  Couple of packs of Nikes would see your semi final predictions mysteriously appear on the spreadsheet - 3 packs and they'd both have the correct scores too! LOL

Been great seeing the different nationalities taking part - thanks for joining in the fun.
