    For the final, hmmmm, not sure about this 1, but germany have been the better side all through the competition. Argentina have been 1 of my 2 favourites to win the competition outright, with Brazil my first choice. Im thinking the German defence will be that bit stronger, so im going for this:

    My way of thinking is the Germans have all the aces in this one.  They've played a lot better, have had 1 day longer to recover, had an easier game anyway with no extra time and the Brazilian fans will probably be cheering for them and boooing Argentina.

    I don't watch any Football games, except for World Cups.  Actually just 2 world Cups.  Shakira talked me into it watching her music vid from Sth Africa....lol

    Great Job Johnny, Thx for organising. It's been great fun and bit sad it's over.

    I agree,  Mainz is a jammy git !

    Oh and thanks for doing this John,  it's made some of these world cup games more palatable.

    Shhhhh!  Haven't you guys watched enough sport to know how often a commentator says something like And all he has to do is get round this final corner and he'll be the ....Oh dear, he's crashed.

    I'm going to be on the edge of the couch tonight, so close to the winning line but I'm pretty sure Foresight put sugar in my tank at the last pit stop.

    Thanks for all the kind words and continued support for this event folks -  I'm truly overcome with emulsion.

    You guys made it all worthwhile. Delighted...... nay, astounded that so many seen it through.

    I love the fact that around the globe there will be wgt members sitting watching the remaining matches and will have a daft wee predictor competition in their thoughts.

    As for MM being a 'jammy git' - true. LOL

    Good luck to all as we approach the final whistle.
