  Oooh Mainz,    I guess as you are top dog at the moment,  it makes no sense in copying your predictions.

  I do notice your Germany prediction though, and although you admit to having little knowledge of football,   being an insider   I may just imitate that Germany vs France result.

  Looking at the round of 16,   if only i'd predicted draws in all the games, I'd be close.

  Im going to wait until tomorrow before posting predictions. Nothing to do with copying anyone elses scores, but more to do with injuries to players etc.

  Little knowledge is putting it mildly Steve.  I could have named Rooney on the England team and probably 5 or 6 Germans but other than that my knowledge of the teams was squat.  Oh, I'd also heard of Ronaldo of course.  More's the pity.

  I've based my predictions purely on teams I know have played well in previous years, after the first few I obviously had a bit of a feel for who was on form or not but there's been a lot of lucky guessing involved.

  Germany didn't play well yesterday but they're one hell of a dogged team, I think they'll get through at least one more round.
