    WGTadmin2:

The goal would be to separate out the divergent skill levels of players currently in the TL tier.  Tiers are always meant to represent skill level so you can find like skilled players in your tier.

There is no difference in skill between hitting the ding or close to the ding with equipment that goes 15-30 yards farther, is more accurate and stops quicker.

So, the disparity between skill WILL ALWAYS REMAIN in ANY and ALL tiers when some players can hit farther more accurate shots that stop quicker and others players can't.

    TDSLIMIT:
Add a new tier.   Players who have an  average of  57.  Or below .          Should be considered Tour Champions.     Players who have a 57 AVG or lower Tend to birdie 8 out of 9 holes.    Also most can bird 13 out of 18 holes no matter what course they play.  On a Par 70 course   13 under is a 57.  Again most TL can shoot a 13 under in their sleep.

I'd agree with you Donnie, but WGT avg's once saturated, are not tru avg's.

Min is low 56...now go look at my scoring history...probably around 60-61 for a real average.

If WGT did not saturate the average, or took the last XXX rounds as average, I could agree with you.

    TDSLIMIT:
And I am In favor of backing up the Tour Champions tee boxes.

WGT in the past, has stated they cannot do this.

Knowing WGT they'd make the top tier play on uneven lies.

That can very easily be ruled out, not gonna happen any time soon.

UELs need too much done before it's a good advert.

    Obviously they don't.

WGT placed two new officials here, starting with big noise. Meanwhile it's obvious that they even don't participate in all the threads which they supposedly opened to ask for our opinions. They simply left them alone, giving barely any response or comment within about two months. I judge this activity as nothing but theater thunder and idle time. There must be more important tasks on their tables - meanwhile they are glad to have us occupied in our futile attempts to contribute to the game.

With this, IMNSHO, they gave another example that the company doesn't give a d* for the forums, our opinions, thoughts and knowledge.

Fortunately they give us wee clues every now and then, as in this mod's quote of yesterday:

    ... I'd like to hope for ...
    (addressing some wishes for development)

I read: He has no hope but displays it in the nicest possible way ;)

I prefer Dante Alighieri after Hell's Gate has been passed: "Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate!"

Someone from wgt started a thread asking us if we'd like to have an on/off switch for the caddie.  Many responded, most saying that yes, we'd like that...only to get no response from wgt.

Now this thread, like the caddie thread, is a tumbleweed on a deserted road, as Jim so aptly illustrated above, as does alosso's quote from The Inferno.
