    Hi

I have a number of friends who also have enjoyed this site for a couple of years now. I'm not used to posting complaints & I am aware that this one is in the wrong post. However, we are all so exasperated with the site, especially over the past couple of months. The site & games have slowed down to such an extent that they have become impossible to play. The animations and the meter have ground to a virtual halt. We've tried all the usual ploys like clearing the cache, memory cleansing, etc but to no avail.

We are all using up to date laptops with >4Gb RAM and around 2Ghz speed.

We are not experiencing these problems with any other games

Can anyone help please otherwise I'm afraid that it'll be a permanent 19th hole for us?

    Thanks

The major disconnect problem I get has to do with challenge rounds that friends send to me. I almost never get disconnected on anything else except for occasional games that I do "restart" on.

The challenge rounds drop out and give me the "Snap" screen 75-80% of the time when I attempt to play them. It's not on my end as nothing on my end drops out except WGT. Further, if I lose connection on my end--I do occasionally when I play at the lake with a flaky router--it tells me I've lost my connection and asks if I want to try to reestablish it.

This gets very aggravating since when it Snaps you out it doesn't report the score and it doesn't give you the 50 experience points for doing the challenge. I've lost thousands of points to this phenomenon now. I don't really care that much about the points since they don't mean much at Legend level but the not reporting causes friends to think you're ignoring them.

There is no screen shot to take as it's just the snap screen rather than the playing screen freezing up. It will let you go back in and resume the game but just doesn't report or credit points.

The problem went away for a month or two but I've only managed to complete one challenge round in the last two weeks without getting snapped out.

Hopefully I'm not just duplicating someone else's post but my search didn't turn up any other posts on this.

Three for three on getting snapped out of challenge rounds this morning. Furthest I got was five holes.

Also tried playing a CTTH tournament yesterday afternoon. After restarting in the middle of the round I snapped out of every single round there after that at least once. At least there you can come back in but it's still the constant aggravation. I'll have to try restarting on a regular round and see if it happens then also or if it's just the CTTH ones where I have this problem constantly.

I don't know if this fits the topic exactly, but I'm unable to get into my game at all. I have a game in progress, and when I click Resume Game and then Continue, nothing happens. The screen shot is where it stays. This happens in Chrome and Firefox both. I'm playing single-player. I did the Adobe Flash Player and it said I have the latest version.

    Your Flash Version
    17.0.0.169
    Your browser name
    Firefox
    Your Operating System (OS)
    Windows (Windows 8)

This place is broken.  As I stated in another thread that the drunk monkeys can't anything.  They have no clue.  Each update turns into a downdate.  WGT doesn't care about people that have been here for a long time.  They must figure that they have us over the fender of a "56 Buick.  And I'm sure people on here will say that this is the best thing since sliced bread.  WRONG!!!!!!!
