  So... chips won't be basically long-distance putts then?

  Thanks for the heads up.   Hopefully the change will be me chipping a yellow Callaway.

  I fear not, that would be a change to every shot wouldn't it?   I'm sure those yellow Callies are just around the corner.  No idea which corner it might be though.

  You do understand that the posted thread that you are referring to , is 5 years old ?So as you can see , the problems which affect the game , are nothing new . Will these problems get fixed ? Check back in another 5 years . Keep hope alive . :-)

  Me, too, but I'm wondering why you don't see it as viable now. I use it on occasion but only with the 64W  and only because the pitch is so accurate.

  I see it as a usable shot about 1 shot in 50 from just off the green.  A very flat green and less than 6 yards from the hole might see me use a chip but I too pitch almost every time from 10-12 yards and under.  I just find it more controllable.

  So true andy . The record is so old and broken , I didnt even pay it any attention .I must be getting tired of the same old thing . Same promises to fix , and something else to break .
