Naw...I could see if you were on a voice chat something popping out, but when you have time to think about it, and type it into the chat box...that's just plain rude with strangers.
Well if you're sitting there typing in a paragraph... But, if you're a touch typist, I'm not wicked fast, about 70wpm, so I'm okay. If something really weird goes on I can put up a 'Are you fu*kin kidding me?' almost without thinking about it.
I know what you mean though, typing in a bunch of swearing with people you don't know, or people you know find it rude or offensive is in itself rude I agree. If I know there is someone who doesn't like it, I'll do my best not to type in something too bad.
"Wtf's" are always okay, I've never had anyone complain about that.
