Putter Stutter

  Has anyone else experienced a stuttering meter ONLY when putting?  I run smooth as silk on drives, iron shots, pitches, rough, sand, lob, punch...BUT when I try to putt, for the past week ONLY - my meter will not stop stuttering across and jumping beyond click point.  This specific problem, only...and if so, how did you resolve?  Thanks.

  There are many posts about how to monitor your CPU while playing. Is your computer a good one?

  I'm only curious because the putting screen has moving dots and is more CPU intensive, I believe, so this may be part of the issue. The other shots don't have that complex grid animation.

  ps For me, Comodo Dragon is the best of the 4 browsers I've tried. Then Maxthon, then IE then strangely Google Chrome came is last.

  Set your Game Settings/options so the putting grid is not displayed when you putt.

  Thanks, changing the setting to "off" stopped it....but it seemed to have no negative effect in terms of my use of info needed to putt.  Appreciate it.

  Thanks for info.  I turned "off" putting grid in my settings, and this got rid of stutter.  I may have to try Comodo Dragon.  I use IE and have occasional probs.  TKS

  Try again today and let us know if you still see the stutter.  We stopped the dots on the down swing which should make it better.

  Whatever wgt did made the putt meter more unstable, right before the ding line the meter speeds up & flies past. I'm having to click earlier to hit ding. I have always left the putting grid turned off, so like I say wgt made it worse. Quit making changes that only screw up the game. And yes I have cleared, cleaned  & took a crap to no avail. All I see is problems so far today, the site just shut my browser down 10 minutes ago. I suggest you undo all & leave it alone.

  Mine was stuttering for weeks. But its fixed now.

  Mine is also much more worse. Everything seems much more unstabil. I had to change my browser from maxthon to Iron today. It helped a little.

  You're so called "fix" for low end Pc's to stop meter stutter has made my TOP END PC which had a perfectly smooth meter unbelievably stuttery, especially on putts.  My driver used to be the smoothest club in my bag never ever a stutter now i even get a stutter on that.  Come on WGT, as usual you're tampering causes problems at other places.  Looks like after finally getting a smooth game and a lovely new top spec pc my meter is back how it used to be when i had a LOWER SPEC PC!!!!
