I just refuse to play any tournaments as its obvious they are rigged.my enjoyment comes from playing with a small group for credits on a regular basis an if every one did the same these tourneys would be left full of all the cheats to try an out cheat each other

I am not at an elite level to feel your pain yet, but am just happy that country clubs exist to make this game fun.

The cheats ruined the linkls ls98 series and they appear to be ruining the rig tourneys here.

Just putting the competitions and credit RG's aside for a minute..  The fun of any game, if you're a gamer, is the leveling up and acquiring new equipment aspect of it. I can imagine, not being there myself, once you get to a point in this game where it takes you forever to level up and gain a new tier.. or already have all the best equipment, that it takes a lot of the fun out of it. That happens with every game.

The ones that are beating up on honest people in the tourneys are just worthless pieces of shite.. no excuse for that. Also, not a lot can be done about it.

I am proof that total honesty gets you absolutely nothing. Same name, same account since day one. I have never won a credit in a tourney, my career earnings are my massive bonuses from WGT as I reached a new tier. I can live with this and sleep well at night.

Even funnier ... I looked up the account of a player I knew of, and it seems that over the course of a few days, he made friends with about 24 Kuwaiti accounts with similar names, all hacks, yet none of them appear in his friends list ... and none of them have any activity since joining. Very strange days are these ...

Curious. It's been too long ago for me to be sure. Do you still get a few credits just for signing up?

You only have to look at the earnings list and see the amount of players who have not been members for long maybe low level or still tour masters yet they're around the top of earnings list above ready go stalwarts like dansamcan or bollox.  Its so easy to spot re-starters.  They should be banned from credits tournaments until they reached legend again.  It should be a wgt rule, one of the conditions of re starting is that you forfeit the ability to enter $$ tournaments until you reach legend.  That would instantly make it less lucrative to restart but doubt WGT would want to jeapordize their income from these restarters.

Rumour has it that this IS the rule - if a player knocks at their door and applies for a legal restart.

All those we are talking about do it through the backdoor, opening another account silently, supporting the clone with their credits and taking all they can get. And it looks as if it's being tolerated by omitting intensive investigation (or is it that we only see that minority which luckily escapes?).
