Known as the church pews!
Having one time been in that church pew in real life I can say it doesn’t matter who designed it. It is totally diabolical. You absolutely cannot advance the ball. The sand is heavy and deep and the distance between the pews provides little room to swing a club forward. Your only shot is laterally back to the fairway.
