    Me either, Scott. It's funny some inessential words stay in your memory for the lifetime once learned while other essential ones don't.

    First I thought it was some sort of a vault door knob, you know that round thing you turn to open it, then I realized the background looked like outdoor so it can't be it...

    Getting harder and harder which is good.

    Thank you folks!! If you have worked with them, it's easy to spot them...the shape is so distinctive.

    Just me being pedantic but it is a woodworking vice rather than a metal vice .
