    mkg335:

You'll forgive me if I take a rather jaundiced view of the matter.

    Good one! lol

I've worked in broadcast & fashion/jewelry, together, and colors were a big part of it.

I thought 'chartreuse', naturally, but there are many versions and terms. If everybody is on the same page, and using the same palette and terms then it makes the collaboration successful.

The area in the red circle is close, but light does play a big part. But you can look up different examples of the colors. *

A close match for the top left ball may be something like a gold yellow, yellow pantone, etc.

(edit: I agree Andyson with your "Really no need to specify a RGB or reference a color chart IMO.  If they produce it using their existing Srixon neon yellow I'm good with that.  Keep it simple."

    New chant:

'We want Srixon neon yellow Callys!!"

    Agreed.

Callaway refers to it as "Optical Yellow",  not sure where that falls on the colour chart but it's definitely yellow. ;-)

I'm on your side Hazen, not that I play them, but the (correct) color change would help me spot your ball in the 70/80 when we are P's in AS.

The yellow they used for the Callaways, I could name "dehydration yellow".  ;-)

So I guess you were after "well hydrated", Hazen?  lol.

Who's with me on this?  I know many who have told me the Color they used for the "Yelloways"  was a flop.

The ball on the left (in the very top photo) is clearly the better ball - but you may want to photoshop out the wrong color vapor trail just to avoid any confusion.  And in the second photo - the one on the tee box, the ball on the Right is now clearly the better ball.  I'm no legal expert, but I would have thought that WGT's EULA with Calloway specifically states WGT can't offer anything that Calloway does not offer IRL.  As far as I know, Calloway does not sell the Canary Yelloways.  So not only did WGT half ass the current offering and hope that we simply wouldn't notice (LOL how well did that one go over for you boys?), but they violated their own Terms of Service as well.

I agree, 1000%.  If WGT wants me to spend even one credit on these Yellow Calloways, I can guarantee them I won't do it until the current monstrosity of their yellow ball is fixed. Neon yellow, WGT.  Say it with us, now.  KNEE-ON YELL-LOW.
