    ShadyShank:

After some good advice from a couple of gr8 guys, I started hitting the Callaway 39's. Then, I realized that on certain courses I score better with the Nike 48. So, now I mix & match.

I agree some balls do play better on different courses, but if you mix and match it is crucial that you have accurately mapped both balls.

I used to play the 33 Cally - best attributes/value wise, but Nikes for spin and distance. As for meter speed and with and aging brain and reaction time - Max balls has become by core ball.

But I have tried the Nike Vapor ball that WGT gave me and whilst it is only level 40 (ish) the spin and distance over the Max is noticeable ( probably 3 yards longer on a 100 yard approach) than the max - and unlike the Max ball they do not "float" on the green. Now if I could actually hit the ding............

Thanks for the responses, great ideas..mix and match, etc.

I might actually try the MAX Slow Meter  (Pro+) 600c     spn 2.5     dis 4    meter 5

I like the starter just once and a while to bring back memories. Or the affordable Srixon, I think I had luck w/ the Level 11.

    Hey WGT

Any chance of a Northern Ireland Avatar?

You have them for the UK, England, Scotland, Wales & Republic of Ireland.

I think there are enough of us on wgt to justify it!

    Cheers
