It's better the way it is, as it's much easier to go up in tier than in level.  Masters can always cheat their way to legend through MP.

Yes, But like I stated in the original post I was looking for a driver with a meter speed that was reasonable, The R 1 has a meter speed that is just a little fast for my taste, And also was trying to match the meter speed to the Irons that I have so that I can have a consistent meter speed through out the club selections.

And I noticed that you are using clubs for levels 80 + try purchasing clubs available to a player at level 50 and compete with someone at a higher level!

And you know Mary  when you arrive at legend tier   is not 215 left on the second shot but sometime  more than 250 yards when t the wind is in the face.

I stated in the first post that the shot off the tee needed to get more than 215 witch I do unless the wind is at my face,However with that being said the hole that I was talking about has pretty strong winds on any given day and if they are headwinds I can almost always count on adding at least 1 shot to my score before I even tee off while I watch players at a higher level bang their tee shots well over the rough on that hole.

You'll definitely get used to the R1 in no time at all..there's always a trade off as you get better gear.

Get the R1 and start enjoying the fairways again:)

Use premium balls to slow the meter down, I suggest the L1 Calloway slow meters @ 300 credits a sleeve.

Edit:  I noticed you're currently using the WGT rock balls, ANY premium ball would be an upgrade over that and just a 1.0 or 2.0 metered ball would make that R1 a joy.

I use balls that cost 67 credits a sleeve, and 90% of my opponents play with balls that cost between 500 and 700.

I also have a 67% win rate vs. other legends.

Yeah - you can compete with somewhat inferior goods.

The thing is you won't be able to compete  with them is you don't get better clubs once you get use to the meter its easier to play ( even try the 44 credit balls )

If all you want is a 3.0 meter that's fine but you won't get far with what the proshop offers

i tried to get all my meters the same but not gonna happen with the clubs they offer (unless i down grade)

Exactly right.. You'll get plenty of advice to do that, and it's a good idea.. it's just not feasible with what the pro shop has to offer.. not if you want the best sticks.
