These threads crack me up!
Some of you need to be aware that Mods don't report to WGT headquarters and sit in a room full of WGT manuals/how too's, with a programmer available 24/7 to answer questions and make 100k a year...
I don't know exactly how it is done here but I'm sure like most sites Mods are not even employed by WGT, they do it for some sort of benefits and moderate from their homes which could be anywhere!
While they do have more access like deleting threads or posts, they do not have administrative access....they are most likely people like everyone else here who the admins liked and asked them to be Mods, emailed a list of what was expected, and actions they could take and put a WGT in their name...I doubt they have any idea about the programming, and get tidbits of info from the admins to pass on about whats coming, they just keep the head honchos in touch with the temperament of the customers and reign in the problem children...The Admins are a different story!
I was a Mod on a site from 98-00(no offense to the mods)
Half the time before they ever read a problem someone has already answered it, if you have a complaint they prolly just let Admin know and then it is out of their hands...Geeezzz, give 'em a break...
