Free to play is not relevant for me, (and probably you), I've paid.  So we agree.  If I've paid then I have a voice.  ;)

LOL. Of course you do, it never was about having a voice. It's the response, or lack thereof, that seems to be causing the upset in a few.  And for you, I could do a free cabinet. ;-)

This was my earlier post to this thread,Thank you for trying to calm the situation down, I did not think this thread would come to this,I was merely trying to educate myself to who the mods were, and to possibly get a better understanding of their roll in the forums.

    OK Guys,

Enough is enough, I did not start this thread as a bashing grounds against the staff of WGT, I was just trying to find out who the moderators for the forums were as I did not know, I did not realize that the forums were just customer driven,I guess I just assumed that they were trying to give the customers what they thought we wanted if it was within reason and possible and would add to the playability of the game experience, My hat goes off to all involved in making this the game it already is,And it does not matter if it is the Admin,The programmers,or even the person that sweeps the floor there,They still have made one hell of a game!

I would like for the moderators that are employed by WGT to introduce themselves to the community so that when we ask for suggestions and get a reply to them, we know that we are actually being addressed by an employee of WGT not just a member of the community such as myself.

The forum mods all have "WGT" at the beginning of their username.

And how do you know that to be fact?

The mods put the WGT in front of their acct names for a reason...to distinguish themselves as moderators or someone that is an employee of WGT...makes perfectly good sense to me...and you questioning the validity is kinda odd to me...are you one of those like conspiracy kooky guys?..try not to be in your head so much....nothing wrong w/ questioning things...its just they have proper time & place...

I think you're misreading it. I didn't sense any animosity, just a decent discussion with differing POV's.  :-)

I just wanted to be sure that it was fact so that If I ever quote someone on it, the information that I give is correct. And I meant no disrespect by questioning it even if the way I worded it sounds that way,But you have to realize that I have been given quite a few Knee jerk responses to questions ask in the forums that it makes me question most anything I read on here.

Since WGT won't tell you, here's a list of the staff members I can think of offhand that I've seen in the forums and are still listed as members::

    WGTadmin

    WGTadmin2

    WGTicon

    WGTdoubleoshoe

    WGTBOBBYSWORLD

    WGTNiblick

    WGTniv

    WGTTyphoon

Some have appeared here VERY sparingly but they have appeared. Anyone have any others to add?

Excuse me, if you want specific, limitated answers you should post the right questions. If you don't, you might get trapped by some honest thoughts of experienced users which may extend your views from the beaten paths.

And, as far as I am concerned, it's NOT bashing the staff but receiving clarity about the company's POV concerning our contribution to their questions. I understand that this was your point of interest(?)

I appreciate that you support my point with your open expression of expectations.

misterwgt springs to mind - certainly has more clout!

What is a moderators role? This varies on the site - I used to be a mod on an aviation website and the only role there was to delete inappropriate posts (at certain times this was nearly a full time task for 8 moderators lol) - never to communicate with the users.

I could post as well, but these were my opinions not of any company.

Here perhaps it is the users only valid way of communicating with the company.

I have sent mails via the customer link and appears to be self generated responses using "key words" as the generator. A couple of times the issues have been addressed correctly and in a timely manner.

The adage that a successful politician is one who can distract everyone from the real goings on perhaps rings true here!

The mods here can be helpful but I believe have limitations of what they can and what they cannot convey to the users.

Communication between users and the company has always been the Achilles Heal for WGT, and is unlikely to change IMO.

    @alanti

I want to thank you personally for all of the hard work and dedication you have shown to the WGT community in compiling all of the suggestions that you come across in this section of the forums and trying to convey them to the company, It is a thread that I browse quite often. I really wish we as a community could get the companies input as to the suggestions that they have considered and rejected so that possibly a list of these could be compiled to browse before making a suggestion, this along with the list of suggestions that you have compiled would really be helpful to everyone involved.

Again Thank You for your hard work and dedication!

No need for thanks, as I can take no credit - they were suggestions that the community had asked for, all I did was collate them - and had help from Shrude especially for the CC requests.

Sadly I have not updated it for a long time as the original idea was (and agreed) to get WGT's take on the suggestions and comment. When that became a no, there was no motivation to really update the list.

But I do hope that WGT do occasionally look at the list and possibly draw some inspiration from it (yes I know i am dreaming).

If nothing else it was a snapshot of what players asked for frequently - some I agreed with others were pie in the sky stuff lol, at that point in time.

Sorry to correct you, Alan, but it is MisterWGT..lol

He won't respond to you (generally speaking) and rarely makes an appearance in the forums. I also believe that posting his wall is futile as well as many of the other Admins.

Some of the other WGTAdmins will not respond to wall posts either.

@ the OP - any WGT employee or mod.will definitely have WGT preceding their user name.

This is straight from the T&C:

In particular, you may not use any name:

    1. Belonging to another person, including pop culture figures or celebrities, with the intent to impersonate that person, including without limitation a "Game Master" or any other employee or agent of WGT;
