    BriRock:
YJ is one of the few who think prior to speaking.

Yes, YJ is a 'measure twice, cut once' man.

Some people need to follow these instructions....

Heh-That was only after realizing now matter how much I cut it, it's still too short!

Aussie-I think you have a good idea. Keying on improving the performance of the irons vs adding a longer driver might make more sense. Some added length with better stopping ability could be a somewhat graceful way for WGT to move on from the imbalance they created. This way, with superior irons for Legends, TMs such as myself wouldn't have that big advantage. It's still a driver/wedge game for TMs but Legends would have the same ability with longer irons that TMs have with wedges making it fairer.

Hey BriRock, I'm not the one who started this crap,YJ is! Why don't you read the rest of the posts first before butting in on something that's between me and him. If you haven't noticed you moron, he hasn't responded to my challenge. probably won't, the topic here was a driver for the legend tier(which I'm for) and he starts out by attacking one of the other posters. Then he attacks me..... what? I'm supposed to sit and read that nonsense! The challenge is out there for him to answer. And also pal, no I'm not affraid of too many things, mostly fools like you guys who like mouth off when they're several hundred miles away. My recourse was to challenge this individual on the course, settle it like gentlemen, obviously something that is way over your heads! Since we both agree that the lengends deserve a driver with a little more distance, what's is the problem.... huh? explain to me what the damn problem is?

If you think I'm some kind of punk or something like that, come on over to Maui, Lahaina to be exact! And ask anyone in town if they know me. And give me a call I'm in the phone book. and I'll show you a good time. Just so you know what Aloha is all about.

      Aloha to all,

    iukine:
... if you can be a gentleman ,

Gentlemen act this way? I'll pass, thank you. Stick to your grass skirt and stay on the topic of this thread-it aint me.

So you are afraid of me?? Because that’s how I’m reading that...oh and a quick Newsflash for you…99% of us don't live in Hawaii...we are all several THOUSAND miles away... You are in the middle of the ocean...

I looked you up in the phone book but couldn't find you...just making sure I’m spelling it right....Village Idiot...do you have a middle initial that I’m missing or perhaps a Dr. or Mr.?? (You set yourself up for that one).

...On Topic...Still haven’t changed my mind about the Legend Driver…I’m not so sure that giving them longer irons, with even better spin control is such a great idea. I understand where the longer shots could def use some more spin when hitting into the greens (or maybe the greens should act like actual greens)…but to give them clubs that would allow a 5,6,7, iron to stop on a dime might cause a bit more chaos than a few extra yards off the tee. With respect to the driver, it’s just one club. It doesn’t affect the rest of the shots made throughout play (yes I understand that a longer tee ball puts shorter clubs in your hands for approach shots), but you won’t be using the driver for those shots. With new irons, far more shots are affected. Now, perhaps WGT will someday allow us to split up sets of irons, so Legends can drop their 3 and 4 irons, for say Legend Only Hybrids with far more loft and spin control…That idea I am not opposed to.

I think any TM who has an average under 70 should have to play with starter clubs. That would be about equal in length and skill! JMO :)

[over and over and over . i think it will never end.   i guess they think that they are entitiled?  i hardly think so.  wgt open up your pro shop doors to everybody, only dependent on what amount of money they want to spend.  get a fair handicap system and keep the publishing of the handicaps up to date.  stop all the nonesense, unfair this, unable to that.  get them into a country club, (babysitting service for chronic whiners) let them run it the way they want and leave us poor unwashed the  he'' alone.     my 2 cents again.
