Can I ask another question. How will the scoring be determined if there are teams with multiple tier members? WGT is known to set different conditions across the tiers so the TL's may be playing in low winds where the legends are in heavy winds?
It may be advantageous to sacrifice a Tour Legend for a legend or Tour master to maybe get an advantage in a couple of the weeks tournaments.
Maybe ask Icon if they can duplicate the rounds we will be playing that have the different Tier levels so they don't have the Tier levels so we are all on the same wind conditions. They would just be ranked rounds so all get their respective Tee's and Green Speeds with the same winds. They could call them the Gran Prix Single Plays. I thought i read somewhere in the past that they could do that if asked far enough ahead of time?
I had mixed results engaging WGT for special requests... WGTdoblshoe is the best resource, as he's pretty good with feedback, but having a request granted it's another subject.
We set up this tournament so that we will not need to rely on special favors: we just rely on the consistency of public tournament which is enough even for an event such as this.
I must say we are pleasantly surprised by the number of subscription, and can't wait to have this competition running!
Regarding the Tier considerations, please know this tournament is open only for Legend and Tour Legend players.
If you think that having all Legends or all Tour Legends in your team might give you an advantage, that is up to you to decide: I find Tour Legend are usually more experienced and better players as compared to any other tier, regardless of the play conditions (on the ranked rounds) it's your call as captain to make the right decision during the enrollment period so... good luck!
