    TopShelf2010:
Excuse me, I do not mean to interrupt this conversation, but do we need to get a room for you two?

It's not private, just filling the two weeks until Edward knows the new number.

    Happy to hear new opinions!

    Cheers to 2015!

Very interesting read.  Kudo's to the "chart keepers"......

After a little abstract thought, the following could really change things.....

Each WGT member/player maintains his "earnings" regardless of which CC affiliation.  I would think it would be appropriate for the same treatment in XP points.  They can carry their earned XP points with them to which ever CC they decide to join/participate.  This would certainly shuffle the rankings a bit.

At my CC, there are many in the hundreds of thousands...... a guess would be our top 50 contributors would be an average of 160,000 each...... we even have one member over 400,000.  Considering this, a handful of members leaving the CC would make a substantial difference in the overall CC XP level......

With this format..... CC members would definitely have a "say" Those not satisfied with their current clubs (but continue to hang around to have benefits of a large XP club) could carry their points elsewhere, join other friends in forming their own CC, and not to mention the amount of recruiting by all.

When WGT implemented the "CC Level Up" program....  they placed an emphasis on XP points. Today, the 'smart" use of a daily "free" pass, and accumulation of XP points is a good indicator of "active" players (which is what most CC's prefer).

Bottom line is......Players have earned these points by consecutive days played or out right purchased a pass...... Just makes sense that players should have to ability to carry these points with them.

Besides....  it would sure shake things up a bit when an established CC drops from lvl-14 to lvl-13 overnight.....  or a new CC sprouts to a quick lvl-9.

This being said......... Make the changes WGT....  and let the recruitment begin....LMAO

    Interesting...

Difference being though that the earnings belong to each player - the "CC earnings" are but an addition what each individual brings with him.

OTOH, the CC XPs are a complement of the individual XPs which go to the players' levels. The former appear to me as donations of the members to their CC, they land on this common "account" to stay there.

And, to use them in membership recruitment and whatnots would give them by far too much importance. This invention to the sole benefit of the company doesn't deserve it!

    ....................................................................................................................................................

Just my opinion....  no harm or foul.   Was just throwing out a suggestion that would add some flavor to the CC XP program....

In my "real life" CC...  we have what's known as "Member Equity"....  being if a member decides to leave they are entitled to have their "Equity" returned to them upon departure....     Since XP points are "earned" via consecutive day play and/or purchased by a member, it would appear they should be a members "equity"...

No particular person(s) pointed out......  but I have noticed several clubs that have reached levels that afford "directorships"; however, the CC Owner has chosen not to appoint directors for whatever reasons......  this is of course, at the Owner discretion.  The use of directorships would give the members more "say" in the operational and decisions of the CC..... which, in my opinion, would be proper considering members contribute via XP points......    The thought of each member maintaining  his/her XP points, to do with as they choose, was only an avenue to "spice up" an otherwise dull situation.......

    Each to his own!

I do not accept the CC XPs as a measure for anything nor as "spice" for the reason stated. Please allow me to pull out of this part of the discussion.

I have been an owner of a 240+ members CC for two years without any official "support", and I don't see what we'd win by appointing empty directorships. I may appoint a director when it will have a meaning. As of now, I get support by the active members, by those participating in CC life and discussions, and any necessary functions will be created internally. I'd certainly NOT look at the XP contributions (=passes bought and used) for such decision.

These role titles (and the "bank", nothing but an empty menu point) are new unfulfilled hope created by the company, but They are WGT, hope is futile.

Certainly no fingers pointed to you or any other CC owner.  You folks have started, built and nurtured your club..... as an owner, you deserve to operate as you deem necessary.

I can appreciate that club owners would probably frown on the idea that members can have control over their earned XP points and carry them wherever they decide.... it could have a negative effect on the  level of the CC should they decide to leave...... perfectly understandable.

    Was just a thought.......
