  for the most part non functional for me.Just using up space

  Thats a windows bar i'm afraid, nothing WGT can do about it.

  in browser options there is an option to turn it off but for the life of me can't remember it lol , something about pre - load if i remember rightly.

  IIRC, in IE that would be the status bar. If you right click on an open space in the browser header, you should get a menu, uncheck Status Bar.

  For the IE users, the following solution will clear the status zoom bar from your game window.

  Open up new window and click View,  then click on Toolbars,  then click or put a check mark next to status bar.  Then uncheck this box, and you should lose the status bar on the game you're about to play.   I hope that makes sense.  

  This solution is working for me, however I have to perform this chore for each game.  Hope this helps.

  As you can see, That worked fine for the page. But did not work for the game play window.

  Sorry to hear that navigater.  It's working for me just fine. Just a reminder at least in my case, I have to put a check mark in the status bar box,  then click it again to remove it.  When it removes it from the main page it also removes it from the play mode page.  Good luck with it............

  After some investigating I found this, in the game client window, if you right click on the WGT icon at the left hand end of the address bar, you can switch off the status bar there...
