CLUB CLOSURE CANCELLLED. I've a better idea, I'll try and encourage another club with 2 officers to come over to us. A fresh start is happening now. I like my club too much and haven't seen any that does things the way we do. I'm not convinced they can offer what we have at the Fair Play.
Running this club is a hobby that I get great craic from. I've put a lot of time and effort into it, all I'm lacking is some help (I have no directors), the club needs a few tweaks and more interaction in the forums. I have ideas how that can be improved.
I'm suggesting a merger. Would this appeal to you? If so, I'd like to offer you to come over to us. We have a good setup here that could be built on with that joint effort.
Our active membership is over 50 and we don't have any tour legends, which is a features that our members like. We also have a trophy room planned where all our competition and club v club trophies will be on display.
