I don't think you ever "stop" a shot on St. Andrew or Royal George, especially if you're not a Tour Legend. You just kinda coerce the ball up to the hole the best you can figure how to, and hope there's no weeds or bunkers in front of the hole. If there's one thing I've learned, the UK courses on WGT are pretty much the places where Satan likes to put up his playground.
