REPLAY FREEZE

  thx for the tip aussie. the obvious usually escapes me:)

  if this does temporarily fix the freeze, i am still baffled by 2 things. 1 - how did this issue just appear out of nowhere? and 2 - why does WGTAlex post a "clear your cache" response instead of the obvious "turn the replay off for now" response? of course, i missed it too, but that's why i'm at home watching the packers instead of bein paid to watch the game at lambeau field:)

  go to options in game play scroll down to ball trails(replay) turn off  will not show replay only thing every 1 must have off if they get replay will freeze game...

  I played in a foursome last night.  All four of us did this and guess what?  It didn't help; the game still froze after a shot within a yard of the tee.

  WGT Staff:  This needs to be resolved ASAP.  As you well know there are leagues out there, such as WGTLS, that have timeline requirements for finishing rounds in order to advance.  The current bug is preventing such from taking place as rounds cannot be completed.  This bug is effecting player statistics negatively for all of the league sites.

  WGT Players:  We all hate it and it's a real pain.  WGT is aware of the bug.  Stop the bitching and whining.  If you're that bent from one bug then don't play.  Keep posting the incident reports from the bug here and only play single player rounds until WGT gets this latest fiasco fixed.

  so i guess it doesn't work. oh well. we are going back to the "wait a week or two while they fix the multiplayer crash issue" drama.... i am sure they will fix it, it's only a question of when.

  and steelers - we all *** and whine because we would assume that the more we *** and whine, the faster the issue will be solved. if we were able to post a problem and get 1 confirmation, and WGT responded, well then you would have a valid point.

  there's always a way to fix it - don't play. that's like saying "don't worry about the multiplayer bug crash problem, just play with yourself." no kidding. kind of defeats the purpose of playin a round with friends huh? bottom line is, imo, the more bitching [and whining], the better. and if you are opposed to, or offended by, the constant posting about this problem, don't read the forum:)

  steelers does work we where playing wgtls  guild game last night with 4 all did it wahla no replays at all no issues......

  well aussie, i will make that suggestion when i play tonight and see what happens. maybe we can get more input from everyone as to what their results are when they do what you suggested [as long as it's ok with steelers:] - just razzin ya steelers...

  really though - wouldn't you think that, like another poster mentioned, WGT could simply turn the replay feature off while they sort this out on a non-hangover day? wow

  Played a 2 player game with the ball trails (replay) off and on 10th hole at st andrews we got a frozen screen again
