wild neil - i just played with 2 others. on sta #11, player 2 chipped in for a bird - all 3 froze. we waited while player 3 was loading, 2 minutes, nothing. i went to play with myself [cough] on the back 9 at sta, because i am frustrated like everyone else. on the first tee, i overdrove to 345. i was lucky enough to hit my 116 foot putt within 3 feet. i wanted to see the replay because i suck at putting. it froze. i was able to quit and restart - but maybe this is a replay engine bug?[if they have a separate replay process]. i haven't heard yet if it's happening in blitz games...

WGTAlex: when i first joined a couple of months ago, i poured through the forums in an effort to get better at what i thought [and still think] is the coolest golf game on the net. [note: people talk about TWO, i haven't even visited their web page, i am committed to WGT]. anyway, i have gotten advice from, and played with, some very cool people, and very helpful people. this is a chance for another thank you, so some of them are snaike, bollox, sweetie, yj, richard, lee, FREEEEEEEE, allen, onpoint, faterson, vh, mocha, etc, etc. [thanks again guys]... and in that spirit, when i have time, i go through the forums to help others out where i can, because i appreciated it when i was new.

short and sweet: there are very few problems with your game. u have made some decent improvements, but a few MAJOR ones STILL exist. how, in my right mind, can i believe that you stand behind the development of your game when it takes days, if not weeks, to fix issues like multiplayer and replay freezes? when u fixed the replay issue, u posted a "it should be fixed, let me know if it's not." appreciated, but not very personal. maybe i am old-fashioned [or just old], but what about "we worked very hard to find, and test, this bug, and we think we have it solved. thanks for your patience." am i asking too much? ANY indication that u r trying to fix it gives me confidence in your product. replies [twice] like "clear your cache" remind me of the george bush speech days [i will not tell a lie]... how bout some clarification, a result [like "we fixed it, it was a simple fix, but there were 2 hooter's ladie's nights in a row, sorry for the delay" or "we went to a black sabbath reuinion concert and ended up hangin with ozzie for 3 days, sorry"] - at least we could laugh and say "cool."

right now we are all pissed... i think most of us love your game, have met great friends, and while we don't expect miracles, we expect improvements/fixes to the general play of the game, can withstand minor problems like putting from the fringe and tier adjustments, AND hope for new courses, and of course...more cotton candy avatars - cough. [and beer in the dam pro shop!]

breathe..... as the espn nfl crew says...."c'mon man" - and as forrest gump says "that's all i have to say about thaaaat". are u gonna be like a box of chocolates, or are u gonna set the standard? i really hope that u have pride in your product and aren't just in it for the buck. time will tell....

i don't want to offend WGT, i want to be candid. i would hope that my opinion [as well as the other 20,000] would matter, and that honesty is the best policy. i have made remarks that can be misconstrued as offensive or mean, but i mean no such thing. please don't take it that way. i want my candor, opinions, and suggestions to be considered, all in an effort to make YOUR product better. our opinions are GOLD to you, show us [the players] some respect, and fix these issues, and enhance the game, and THEN you can truly be proud of a product that YOU, WGT staff, are a part of:)

and we can be proud to be members.

After I did the flash delete all site, clear cache etc, I played 1 full multi round with 3 instant replays and no game freeze, however the very next multi player game I did have a game freeze at a replay so either I was lucky with the 1st round or the delete all websites from flash/clear cache is a quick fix for a very short time.
