Don't be surprised  when you see WGT's tie in with Travelocity, whether it will be the next virtual open or just more ad sponsorship. Why else in Gods name would grown men that are catering to an age group of 30 to 70 year old men offer gnome tee markers for prizes.

Nothing wrong with WGT making a buck, but an honest buck earned makes a person sleep well at night.

      Good night ev1----zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    WGTdbloshoe:
    1.  Not going to happen

    WGTdbloshoe:
They can playa gain if they wish to try and get a better score.

And IMO herein lies the truth - the clashes are simply revenue raising

By having anyone enter the clash allows for maximum participation.

And of course you want players to play as many times as possible as it equates to greater ball use and having to buy passes.

On the subject, WTF do you have to buy a pass to play (assuming your free pass has been used)

You can paint what you want of it, but it still to me it still stinks of a scam. Luckily many members are not quite so gullible.

And finally, I noticed an earlier post was removed but quite simply I no longer give a ***. Do what you want, after all that is what has always happened.

There is no point posting as WGT do not listen - you have your own agenda and nothing your customers say has little or zero impact.

Sorry But sticking up for WGT one this one

Look at it this way if you where a member of a country club and some guy came in and said give me .37 cents please and the owner said don't give it to him what would you do ??? Tell him to FF I would its my money why can I spend it how I like ok I might of just started something my club owner did not like but so what. But you still don't have to Give the guy.37 cents do you. I enjoyed it this time and yes I knew we where never going to win it with only 99 members in our club and only about 12 of they playing in it but we looked at it this way it was a cc to cc all we wanted to do was win out clashes which we did 5 nil so well done all the No Quitters Here Please who took part.

However the WGT wants to paint this clash of clubs is up to them. If someone wants to start  a club into the match, fine. I would like to see a fair competition that any club, no matter its size has a chance of winning. Augusta won again with almost 250 members which says a lot about fair play. I put in one round because I had one pass. Not against using that free one but will certainly would not buy additional ones since I know the results are rigged in favor of size.

If you need a use for the gnomes, they work great for keeping deer out of your patch...  ;-)

And if drilled out properly and with just a few pieces of stainless steel tubing, and rubber bushings they also make  a wonderful bong.

It would be a better deal for "us" (players) if the Clashes were limited to a certain number of players. A 200-250 member CC, for example, could only have 20, or 30, or 50 players competing in each event. They could swap it out on each of the 2 events. Have WGT notify about upcoming Clash, and owners could post in their respective forums, asking players to sign up to play. It would still lean towards the CC that spends the most on passes, and plays over and over, but it would eliminate 10 players from a CC going against 100 from another, even though both CC's have 200+ members.

But, then again, that would be considered a revenue loss, so I don't see it happening. Just a thought.

And do away with ONE PRIZE!!!!

I guess because I did play, I did benefit by getting 4 CC passes, and a ball speed boost for 200 shots.

Maybe each new one will be better and more equal than the previous one. Maybe.
