    drmoose:

    Attention WGT .

I have just recieved this communication from the  GGLF ( Garden Gnome Liberation Front ).  Apparently your new promotion has not only alienated many of your long standing members but has also drawn the attention of  a lesser known , but, more militant wing of those you would subjugate.

Your refusal to meet with their demands may result in a revolt of world wide proporsions,

I must strongly urge you to rethink your position on "Gnome trafficing" , or, you may face the following,

    sincerely,

    Doc :)

...so here's the new CC vs CC Event thread, which clever person decided to name it exactly  the same as the last thread? (which just turned into an endless list of complaints and bad jokes.)

Things are obviously off to the same start here.

By now you should have realized that it's imp-ossible to get through to WGT , gnome-atter what you say to them it's always going to be the same.

They don't care about your complaints, they don't care about your opinions, they don't care about what you do or don't do in the game, they don't care what CC's or there members do, they don't care about making serious improvements to the game, they don't care about what's fair or not fair. They only care about making $$$ and giving us gimmicks.

The attitude is if you don't like it tough, you can leave. We don't need to address your complaints or suggestions or do anything to keep you happy because we so many customers that keep buying our virtual crap what you have to say doesn't matter anyway.

The CC vs CC Event may be a con but from WGT's end it's a cash cow. What players decide to do is down to them, there's no point trying to convince WGT otherwise, you'll get nowhere.

It appears that a lot of the players despise WGT for their way of doing things. I share that sentiment and the only reason I even come on here is for the friends. This Clash thing has smacked of a scam from day 1 and obviously wgt thinks there is still a market of suckers out there to line their pockets.(again)

I will not be a casualty of WGTs greed and ridiculous ongoing scams to suck real $ out of us. I wish I had gnome before what I gnome now..... Who the fk thought up that awesome prize ??? WGT class = a Click sandwich now.

I wonder why WGT doesn't just go ahead and give all the members of the winning cc a golden putter now.. They'll surely win buy every clash they enter.

Just wondering if the people posting all the funny Gnome picks,  really want this clash idea to be a success.

The old thinking of bombarding threads like this with useless pics of Gnomes and hoping that Wgt could not be bothered at reading little tips we post in between is Very Good thinking, I must admit....lol

Nice pics, I must admit :)

I still wonder about the gnomized flag, but the tee markers are embarrassing enough. I'm glad that we stayed away from them (124th).

As just said in a another thread would be surely better give a sleeve of high priced balls to the best 5 players for each top 25 clubs and I'm pretty sure that anyone awarded will have to choose for this pick.

I would definitely caution CC Owners to not bar their members from playing.  If they want to play let them.  If they want to purchases passes or just use their free ones, let them.

Caution the Owners??  Is that some kind of threat?

You got threat out of that??? Have I ever threatened anyone on here?  Ummm no.  All I am saying is that I have seen clubs eject members for something as small as missing a game invite.  I don't want to see Owners remove players because they have played in the event.

    - WGTdbloshoe

I read it as a threat as well.

If an owner wants to kick someone out for missing a game invite that is their prerogative.

Owners set CC Rules and members abide by them, leave, or are booted.

Isn't that the only power a CC owner has? Invite a new member, accept a member, or boot a member?

Exactly why I think 100% of the comments from owners regarding clashes was let the owner decide to enter or not.  If the answer was yes the CC participates if the answer is no the CC does not.

Do that and there would be no need to "caution" the owners.

I completely disagree with you there.  I don't feel owners are there to have rules so strict like that.  They are there to run a great club and help their members.

    - WGTdbloshoe

I work over 40 hrs per week and in my valuable spare time run my CC which with the help of a couple of members takes up another 20 hours of my time what with the setting up of tourneys updating websites etc etc etc. I therefore have strict rules within my club which every member has to abide to so I am not wasting my time and if they do not abide by them they get booted simple is simple as so DONT caution me if I wish to bar players from entering, you do not run my club I do. I personally did not play in the cash grab and advised my members not too as I did not wish my club to be associated with a IMHO a fraudulent con where WGT actually sanctions cheating and does not listen to the CC owners whom should only be allowed to sanction CC matches (or their directors if that ever comes to pass( not holding my breath there either)). However my members are very competitive and after someone entered my club by mistake decided, with my consent to play the cash grab and set out to win each individual clash and treat it as a cc match which they did and I applaud them for that. But at the end of the day it is NOT up to WGT to allow my members to make decisions where the club is concerned it is mine and should I be absent one of my directors. A simple fix as any programmer knows (except WGT's whom are too busy creating gnomes FFS rather than numerous other issues within the game). I know that WGT will again ignore this and other threads related to the cash grab as they know that very soon 2 very credible rivals will soon be entering the market and they are out to rake in as much cash as possible before that happens because I can see people leaving WGT faster than rats leaving a sinking ship. I run my own business and if I dont look after my customers, listen and act on their concerns, they go elsewhere if I do they come back with their friends colleagues etc., a simple business model that WGT does not seem to know about.

Work it out WGT as my CC is watching the progress of the other 2 competitors with interest.
