1st round for CAPPIEST and me as a marker.

The final score doesn't represent his real game, as he had at least three birdie putts missed by nothing. Very well played round, especially with wind almost always against us.

    Here's the scorecard:

    CAPPIEST: 34

P.S.: I hope it was not too late to play this round for cappiest, he had great troubles with his work and he played late in night ...

Scorecard for my round 2, thanks to good friend Villa for marking -

I was having a good round until the cursed 17th killed me when I lost a stroke for time out because of lousy meter and another shot for an accidental mouse click ! :-(

Anyway thanks to Villa again for helping me out and I enjoyed the round with his company.

                                             Friday 11th of March

We have a surprise leader after 2 rounds in KyRock75 who blasted to the top of the leaderboard with an awesome score of 28 (-8) in round 2 !  He's now leading the elite field of players by 2 strokes from the reigning Tour Champion PRIESTESS and the ever consistent Spaniard villadeoro.  Hot on their heels is a bunch of 11 players who are only within 6 shots off the pace and with a full round of 18 holes to come, it's very probable that some one could make up the deficit from this position !

Here's the full leaderboard after round 2 -

Note that the last column on the right is only a projected Total points for the WGA Cup based on the present position of the players.  It will be constant updated as the players posted their final round scores so you can all see the different scenarios of what the result of this tournament could become at the conclusion.

You can browse the Full Leaderboard  HERE

    FINAL ROUND PAIRINGS

Again I'd like to point out that It's very important that all players must strictly adhered to the assigned pairing above and should only proceed to play with a marker if their partner can not be contacted by Sunday morning.  Should anyone have a problems or any issues they can PM myself or Lou.

REVISED MARKER RULES - Details in the section above

    COURSE SET UP

    • Oakmont full 18   [Champion Tees, Medium Wind, Very fast Greens]

    DEADLINE

    • Before midnight (EST) Sun 13th of March

    PLAYOFF FORMAT

A 9 holes playoff will apply for players taking part in the playoff, starting at the 10th Hole with the same course and conditions as the final round.  If the scores are still even after the 18th hole then the sudden death format will apply from the 10th hole again  and to be continued if necessary until there's a clear winner.

Good luck everyone, it's all or nothing in this very last round of this season so go for broke for the chance to be The WGA Tour Champion !
