I have to mention Simovoice's performance. His great 29 could be better with two outstanding approaches at 5th and 9th dropping really close to an eagle. And he deserved them.
This first round performance is a great boost for us to play "easily" the frightening Back 9 in Oakmont, where every mistake leads to a bogey (or worse).
