  R1 for both players was so so. I made a silly bogey on 4 that spoilt a solid card through a careless chip. We went straight on to R2 due to lack of availability for the rest of the day. Tom hit another solid round missing narrow birdie putts on numerous holes. I had a shocker and after a huge metering on 15th tee followed by an odd VEM moment with my approach, I rather gave up the ghost knowing that I'd killed any chance of making the cut. My lack of play this week really showed up on a course where the greens will punish you if you're out of position.

  Thanks James, Pretty happy with mine considering the only two bogeys were after i ended up in near impossible positions after what seemed pretty good shots. Could have done with a few more putts to drop but holed a few as well so -4 probably about right. Fingers crossed for the cut but probably unlikely.

  Not your best today but thoroughly enjoyable as always

  Rd 2 for Chuckiee, PaulMCM and myself.  Think we are all glad the round is over, and I am relieved to go sub par.  Seemed like the balls were scared of the hole, and I think we all played better then the score shows.  Fun playing with you guys.  Thanks again

  Had two very enjoyable rounds with Beryman, who played round 2 with me and was kind enough to mark me for round 1 as well. Despite a lopsided scorecard for round 2, Beryman definitely had the better highlights reel, with a chip in and some long putts holed!

  Hey everyone!

  Looking to get my Oakmont round in if anyone has not played or can spot?  I need someone that can post a card since the 12 step process is too daunting for me. :)
