  Just noticed the card says 2 up, but this is not correct I won 1 up, I gave Villa his putt for birdie after I had holed mine (he was less than 1 foot from the hole) so this is some kind of error as it has given me the hole.

  I read somewhwere this is a known bug.

  It happens at the end of a won match if you concede the final hole to your opponent.

  As a matter of fact, it's suggested to not concede that.

  Thanks Das, will bear that in mind, its a bad way to finish though, not being able to give an opponent their putt when you have won already.

  QF between AHudd and Columbiacgt. AHudd 1up. Missed an approach on 6th, and that was all it took. Nice game Aaron, at least you dodn't win 4 and 3 as usual, lol. Gl for the rest

  i made a couple of mistakes early, and you capitalised, then you kept the pressure on until the end.

  oh well, i'll try to make it past the 2nd round in MP next time... making a bad habit of losing them !! lol

  Sorry we were a bit late, always tough when my opponents are over seas thanks to the a-holes at my office blocking WGT.  Good round w/ jimbean, a wrong club shot cost him the match, we were neck and neck the whole way outside of that 1 mistake.

  Well played Jason and you won on merit; really solid clutch putting throughout and a few daft shots sent me down. Some of the play definitely wasn't our best (Jason had just got up and I'd had no practice time) but there was still a few stand-out shots to please the crowds.

  a great game , lots of birdies , got the early lead with a birdie on 2 ( Which dont happen to offen for me lol ) then sneaked another one on 3 but Mrenn got it back on 4 , then a birdie fest to the end , ty for the game mate enjoyed the company

  Firstly Thanks to all the players in the tournament for completing the matches very quickly during this week.  It's ironic that I'm the one who is responsible for being slow in playing my matches due to a very hectic work schedule so I apologize for holding things up and I'm hoping to rectify the situation by the end of this weekend !

  It's been a great week with plenty of drama and upsets as well as some excellent close matches !  There were a number of fine performances and here are some of the highlights:

  • columbiacgt defeated #4 seed Mike3226 in a tense contest by 1 up on the 2nd extra holes after being AS after 9 holes.  Great games by 2 real nice gents of this game !
  • Zant upset win over the #7 seed cappiest.  Another very close match which was decided on the first hole of sudden death playoff !
  • Shaghar great birdie finish on the last hole to defeat #6 seed paulmcm in a match described as "a real dog fight" !
  • mrenn29 huge upset win over #3 seed PRIESTESS on the 2nd extra holes of sudden death playoff !

  The Semi-finals is taking shape with 3 of the 4 places being filled already and we have a fantastic match up between #2 seed Kam4122 versus the giant killer Shaghar !  In the mean time the remaining match see Ahudd patiently waiting to see who will be his opponent !
