                                            Friday 7th of January

A great start to the new year saw everyone is firing on all cylinders and as a result we've ended up with a very crowded Leaderboard after 2 rounds.  It's a pleasant surprised to find myself hanging out along side Simovoice on top of a packed bunch of leaders, and even a little more surprising to see the International players performing so very well with only one USA player among the top 12 and also missing quite a few well known names !  So as we're heading into the final round, it's certainly is difficult to speculate any results as this tournament is still wide open and chances are we will find a first time winner for this season of the Tour !

Here is the top of the leaderboard after round 2 -

    View the Full Leaderboard  HERE

    THE CUT LINE -

    • Total number of Players entered:     78
    • Total of Players made the cut:           49
    • Total of Players did not finished:        4   (Good work everyone)

The cut line's been set again at the competitive score of -3, similar to that of The Open just 2 weeks ago !

    FINAL ROUND PAIRINGS

Again I'd like to point out that It's very important that all players must strictly adhered to the assigned pairing above and should only proceed to play with a marker if their partner can not be contacted by Sunday morning.  Should anyone have a problems or any issues they can PM myself or Lou.

    COURSE SET UP

    • Bethpage Back 9   [Hard Tees, Low Wind, Very Fast Greens, Medium Pins]

    DEADLINE

    • Before midnight (EST) Sun 9th of January

    PLAYOFF FORMAT

A sudden death playoff will apply with the players starting off at the 10th Hole on the same course and conditions as the final round.

Good luck everyone, play your heart out for the chance to win the tournament and scribe your name into the Tour's Hall of Fame !

Rd3 for Mrenn and myself, after disconnect on 17 we played all the way back through, mrenn 29, me 30.  This is a modified scorecard combining the 2 cards as neither of us pulled the first card.  Mrenn could have 27, but got metered hard on 10th hole for birdie from makeable range, and just missed ding on 17 from downtown, nice playing, a gentleman as usual, except since we have same avatar normally, he got an operation and played as a shim.

rd 3 for b0geybuster and cappiest.

Cappiest was battling a meter early on, but you can't tell by the end result.  He finished very strong.

Me, good meter, just bad golf.

    Cheers for the round!
