Monty wasn't exactly at his best tonight, and had an unlucky meter glitch on the tee shot on 3rd, ended in a bunker and bogeyed from there. I failed to drop a shot to compensate his misfortune, and i regret that decision. He would have acted differently for sure, and me too, against an ordinary player. Problem is, I wasn't up against an ordinary player. Thanks for the match Mont, I learned something tonight.

Guess it wasn't my night anyway as had two birdie putts lip out and a third stop in the jaws.
Yes being metered threw me off my stride, it always takes a couple of holes to settle back down as you then expect it to happen, so are more concerned watching for it than hitting the shots.
Regardless of that, can't take anything away from Jack, he was solid all the way round, and when I did get my act together and started to peg him back, I ran out of holes.
There should be no regret on Jack's part, being metered happens to us all, just annoying it happened in a final.
