  Bit of a blur to be honest, I remember birdieing 1,2,3 and 6 (the less said about the 5 on 4 the better) and also scrambling tap-in pars on the notorious 5th and 7th. A/S going down the 9th was beyond my wildest dreams at the start (I remember making birdie on 1 and thinking a 5&4 loss was now impossible) - i must be a sports psychologist's nightmare.

  Really enjoyed the game and just looking forward to R2 now.

  FINAL RESULT -  What a fantastic finish that was in the last major tournament of the season !  Congrats to Kam4122 on capturing his first major title on the Tour in the most emphatic style with an unbelievable final round of 59 (-11) !  It's certainly is one of the most exciting tournament win and one of the greatest final round in the history of the Tour, well done Monty !  

  A special mention to PRIESTESS for her wonderful performance in coming so close to capturing the "Grand Slam" of majors for this season.  It's an exceptional accomplishment by Tess and it really shows that she's in a class of her own.

  Here is the first round for me and Jerome. It was a very strong fight, very well played from both of us. Jerome was able to recover two holes, and we needed three extra holes to finish. I had a lucky approach on 3rd hole, with an easy putt from 5.7 foot for birdie. Thank you very much Jerome ! Here's the scorecard:

  Round 1 match between Fortesque99 and ryan4spurs.

  I was able to pull out the victory 1 up. Made a quick start winning the first 2 holes before Fortesque won the 3rd. Stayed close after that. Fortesque played the most majestic approach on the 9th, putting it to 3 feet or so, managed to put mine to 9 feet and hole a pressure putt for the victory.

  Thanks for the game Fortesque and I very much appreciate you getting up earlier than usual to get our match in. Good luck for the remainder of the WGA Tour

  An outstanding performance by Les, in a quite unplayable round. Les scored -6 over 8 holes, missing 'bout nothing (second shots at 5 and 7, both very well recovered).

  A killer instinct with putter, cold enough to face the pressure after I tried to comeback into the match with a 35 ft. birdie-putt at 7th (it was last call, and the only open door in the whole match). He sank a 20 ft. fringe birdie-putt at 8th, claiming then for a deserved win.

  It was a great pleasure, Les. Good luck for the rest of the MP tournament.

  I hope to play with you again soon (but no more in BP F9 MPs :D ).

  Just met Ahudd in the first round. He kicked me out again lol, nice match, he birdied nearly every hole, so i lost 2 and 1.

  Fun as always to play w/ Felix(flocke) and he also played well...the bird on 3 & 7 for myself was the key to the match since we were matching bird for bird the rest of the way for the most part. His drive on 2 hurt which pretty much took him out of that hole.

  Well played Ryan - I wish I could blame my slow start on the early start time, but I had already played 6 holes practice quite well... you held on to your lead very well.

  Gotta say those new legend callaway distance balls were blowing me outta the water !!! Wow, they go a long way off the tee... good luck for the rest of the tournie

  Round 1 btwn Kam4122 (Monty) and myself (Bigknight)

  1st Monty is one HECK of a player....still playing fantastic golf coming off his WGA win last week.....We went 10 holes....Both birdied #1, trees killed him on #2...he 'bout aced #3 to pull back even...both birdied #4 & #6...his par lipped on 7 and i made mine. He birdied #8 to pull back even....and we BOTH made 3.5 on #9 as his birdie putt and mine just rimmed....

  SO back to #1...his second carried all the way to back edge of green (pin was back), and i stuffed to 2 feet...his 22 footer was dead on line, but stopped just inches from going in.....my tap in  took the hole and the match...
