Well WGT showed Monty and I all the fun of the fair in that round. Some of the stuff Mont, had to suffer was just brutal; from system lockups (causing a penalty shot) through to the 220yrd cut-down 3wd carrying 260yrds on the fly for an OOB on 8. Given that I'd hit 230 cut-down, this seems a tad harsh...............

Monty; why did you try to help Doctortom? You've caught his random germs!!!! ;-)

Anyway Mont, there's always another round that we can stuff up together!

I wanted to thank Kurt for marking for me yesterday....i was in a tight window and had to leave to get my daughter and he was kind enough to post the card as well...you should've seen the look on my 11 year old daughter's face when i said i was late picking her up b/c i was playing online golf....even more priceless when i said "yes, but Daddy shot a 29!!!"

I think I did, not had a run of three holes like that for a long time.

I aimed where I wanted, hit the power I wanted, dinged every shot and they just went random directions and lengths. To aim middle fairway with a 17mph tail wind at 12, ding the drive and it end up missing fairway left in the 70/80 is not what I expect, to hit a 220 or so cut down 3 wood that flies 260 and runs through heavy rough a further 30 yards to get out of bounds is rediculous.

Anyway company was grand, even if it wasnt WGT's finest half hour!

    Me and Simovoice, Rd 1

Great reaction by Simo, after 3 putt from 5 ft. at #2 (we were very upset). Anyway, 31 for both of us, in this windy conditions is really a good performance.

IMO Monte should be allowed to play round 1 over again.   Its only fair considering the bull *** he had to put up with. Does the british expression "hoofs in the knackers" mean "kicked in the balls" ?   If so you got walloped hard Monte.

lol kind of Kurt, hoofed in the knackers is kind of like a horse kicking them though, so a tad worse than just being kicked! Which is an appropriate description of today!

No worries though, think I am safe into next week already, and the clock is reset then anyway, so annoying when it happens, but rather this week than next!

Round 2 for James and I.

Not a lot happened for us scoring wise, although the theme of rediculous shot outcomes continued, fortunately Kiawah is a lot easier to manage those kind of things on than Oakmont!

Round 1 for Hef111 and wrinkles. Can only say the greens gave both of us fits.
