Here is round 3 for Yoda79 and lvietri. He played very well considering the distances he had to cover being as he is a legend. I did not pay my best ball by any stretch of the imagination. I had many opportunitys for birdies but just blew them. Anyways good playing with ivietri. Well played sir.

Here are the 3rd rounds scorecards of simovoice and flocke2308. Simo played great golf, was a bit unlucky with his bogey. Enjoyed the round a lot.

    Scorecard for Kam4122 and columbiacgt:

    Kam4122......30

    columbiacgt ......33

For some reason I can't upload the card. Tinypic isn't working, but I've got the card and I'll try later on.

I was doing well 'till I ditched on 17th, dropped in hard sand (new 2011 rules of the R & A) and double bogeyed. Monty hit a spectacular 3 wood 1 foot from the pin on 18th with a stiff left to right wind, and that got the 40,000 spectators on their feet and cheering. Well done Monty and ty for the enjoyable match.

EDIT: here is the scorecard, uploaded with photobucket.com

                                         Friday 12th of November

It's been a very exciting opening to the Tour with almost 90 registered players participating.  After 2 rounds of the tourney the cut line was set at an unbelievable low score of -6 with a total of 49 players going through to the final round !

There was furious action at the top of the leaderboard through out the first 4 days and the final round promise to provide more drama with 16 players within 5 strokes of the lead.  The tournament leader MacGillicuddy has set a blistering pace with a score of -15 to be 2 strokes ahead of the chasing pack.  The question whether he can maintain his momentum in the final round with a bunch of players snapping at his heel, has set the tone for a final round filled with plenty of suspense and drama !

Here is the top of the leaderboard after round 2 -

Keep your eyes on the leaderboard to follow the final round action !
