                                         Friday 19th of November

The Tour first major has provided plenty of excitement so far with a big group of players jam packed at the top !  AHudd is the lone leader of the tournament after a fantastic round of 28 (-7) in very difficult conditions on Bethpage Black course.  He is only 1 stroke clear of a group of 4 players including paulmcm, The Sony Open Winner PRIESTESS, jimbean346 and coolswing,  just 1 stroke clear of a big pack of players !  In fact there's a total of 29 players within 5 strokes of the lead and with the final round being 18 holes, any thing can happen here ! So strap yourself in for a great finish to see who will don the famous green jacket at the end of Sunday night !

Here is the top of the leaderboard after round 2 -

The race to grab that all important top 20 postions to gain WGA points is really hotting up.  Remember that the top 32 players in the WGA Points Standing will automatically qualify for the WGC Match Play tournament starting next week, so keep your eyes on the leaderboard to follow the outcome of the final round !

    View the Full Leaderboard  HERE

    THE CUT LINE -

    • Total number of Players entered:     83
    • Total of Players made the cut:           46
    • Total of Players did not finished:        9

With the typical difficult course conditions set for a major the players have switched up a gear and produced great golf though the first 2 rounds.  As a result the competition was intense and there was plenty of pressure at the end as the cut line continued to move up the leaderboard and eventually settled at the impressive score of -2 !  That mean the entire field for the final round is only within 8 strokes off the lead and with a full round of 18 holes to play, there'll be plenty of shuffling around on the leaderboard that's for sure !

    FINAL ROUND PAIRINGS

It is important that all players must strictly adhered to the assigned pairing above and should only proceed to play with a marker if their partner can not be contacted by Sunday morning.  Should anyone have a problem or any issues they can PM myself or Lou.

    COURSE SET UP

    • St Andrews Full 18  [Champion Tees, Medium Wind, Fast Greens, Hard Pins]

    DEADLINE

    • Before midnight (EST) Sun 21st of Nov

Good luck to everyone, play your best in the final round and every shot is vital as it could be the difference between you playing or taking an early holiday next week !

Man those conditions are brutal, just finished a practice round.  Similar to the Open Championship seems like every hole is in your face except the par 3's.  I can't even attempt to figure what the leaderboard will look like after.

It must be easier than our normal ranked games Neil because of fast greens only, long iron shots on a few holes will be a lot easier,Especialy for Rapture players

    Me and Simovoice, Rd 3.

It could be an easy 62-round for both of us, but it goes like that (Few complaints: not bad, not bad at all).

Thanks Simo, I enjoy myself very much, and  it's always a great great pleasure playing with you. See you next week :)

Shot of the match: Simovoice, #17, 15 yds par-pitch from 50-60 Fescue. Amazing one.
