Scorecard for my round 2 match against AHudd -
A fantastic match with my good friend Aaron as it was a tight struggle through the whole round !
Both started by driving the green on the 10th and the hole was halved. Next hole we were both slighly long just in the rough at back of green and some how my pitch shot just squeezed in for a bird with Aaron barely missing by a few inches. On #12 i left my chip shot lingering on the edge of the hole for another halved. Both just missed birds chances for another halved on 13th. After my 2nd shot on 14th rolled to the back of green just below the hump, Aaron 2nd shot almost snapped the pin in half and stopped 1 ft from the hole for eagle. In desperation I managed to sink my putt for eagle from the back of green for a halved ! Aaron won with a nice bird on 15th to put the match back AS. 16th was halved with birdies and both had good birdie chance on 17th but just missed as we went to the last hole still AS. "the beast" some how got Aaron approach shot to the green and it landed short and back spun down the slope to the front of green, I put mine to 3 ft and with a last ditch effort Aaron flop shot barely shaved the edge of the hole for birdie to give me the match 1 up !
Certainly was an awesome match with many great shots by both of us and I was lucky to win it in the end. Thanks for a great match Aaron, I'm sure you'll do well in the next match play tourney buddy.
