    WGTicon:

Best equipment is generally available to best, most prolific players. If it was available at level 30, then there would be nothing for anyone to  look forward to or try to achieve.

275driver is perfectly adequate, but 280 just gives you that much more if you want to dedicate time to get it.

Of course, there will be more clubs down the line.

But of course there will be--and more balls, and more Avatars. and more tournaments--so we all can buy more credits!

I understand what you are saying, but I did not start out spending $1000 for a driver.  Over a period of years and lots of rounds

I would suggest that a tour pro at level 80 has played WGT's worth of "years" in the game ... so why would you like to see him/her not have the same opportunities as someone else, who is, simply put, a better player but with no additional playing time?

Sorry, but whilst I agree that a noob won't go and spend lots of cash on a set of clubs, I don't think they will spend more when they get better, rather they will spend more the more into the game they become (hence why levels are a more appropriate way of unlocking things - just like in real golf... the more you play, the more likely you are to want to play with the better equipment)

Get over yourselves. It's a toy. Akin to a child pretending her dolly is a baby.

From memory............a long time ago, when Leicester were last in the Prem, they also wore blue!!

What is really funny are the jokers on here protesting, ad nauseum, about the merits/demerits of virtual WGT golf equipment that is harming them from shooting 54s everytime they stand on the first tee.

This game is fun, but that is all that it is. It has nothing whatsoever to do with real golf except in the similarities in the scoring system.

It requires only a very basic understanding of mathematics and physics and I will guarantee that such skills can be aquired by a five year old within a couple of minutes.

Please, do not insult the intelligence of real golfers by arguing that this toy, enjoyable as it is, is in any stretch of the imagination, comparable to the real world of actual golf.

No Chris .. your the only one that figured that one out !!!    (just kidding)

Seriously .. what's the big deal .(not meant to ask you Chris) .. All of the equipment is now available to anyone who puts in the time to play regardless of level.   (except 2 balls - ironic isn't ?)    It's not going to change so there's no use anyone fussing about it.

Folks need to relax and play whatever games you can enjoy and afford to play .... and have fun.  If you want to compete seriously, it will cost you time and money ... that's about all there is to it.

Thats the complaint, any hack or amature can get the best equipment when they get to a certain level, then enter all ready go's and land on the green with every drive off their red tees, then birdie every hole, and you've got yourself a few Ready go winnings underyour belt, (untill you have to become a higher level), but you could instead play challenge matches and win as mutch credits as you want, skining the players of black tees.  New clubs don't have to be a massive difference, just 5 yards per club to give legends a reward and an incentive for others to get there.
