Really, please enlighten me then.  What is your setup and/or solution?

Primarily use Chrome, tried Maxthon and IE browsers.   I clear Java temp files before and after every couple games.   Some days Chrome is solid and no meter issues and then other like the last 3 days I have had major meter issues.

Random 5 ft putts falling 1.5 feet short on Tourny 12 greens that fall 99% of the time.

I do not believe my system is lacking for performance.

    my specs:

    i7 2600k

    ASUS P8P67 EVO

    MSI GTX580 Lightning

    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

    Crucial M4 128GB

    Windows 8.1

ISP is 100Mbps down and 5Mbps up

Your system is not lacking. This is a flash based game. Awhile back my meter was acting up until I changed up my flash version. Sometimes the version of flash you are using does not get along with your browser. At least it's worth a try.  IMO.

    ^^^^^

that ... and a bunch of other stuff too. do you play on a dedicated connection ? if not what others are doing on your connection can really mess up game play . third , you may be playing too fast . the only time i see meter stutter is when i do this . watch the meter when you pull power on your putter , how long before it starts to shrink and hold your power that long for every shot , mines about a 3 count ...

I have a 100Mpbs down and 5 up dedicated hard wired ethernet to the router, no one is on the wireless or wired while I am playing. Not downloading or streaming anything either.

I switched to maxthon again, dumbed flashed settings to medium and increased video card from balanced to performance and changed cpu priority to high.  So far it has been better with less meter glitched but they still happen.

You say it is the meter but then say putts are coming up short...exactly what is the meter doing? If it is just putts then your math is off not the meter...

I use firefox and don't have any problems...chrome and IE are bad news....

So. You want a Smooth Meter?

I use Chrome and I'm happy with the meter.

If your meter is not smooth it's likely because the CPU in your computer is busy doing other things.

Close as many background applications as possible.

Make sure the Flash Player Privacy Panel has no web sites listed - including WGT.

Give your CPU time to settle down before you start your down swing.

Yes, WGT programmers have botched the implementation of the tiny meter animation and it is uber sensitive to anything else using our CPUs.  Therefore we the players must shut everything possible down on our computers in order to have a decent meter.

Download different browsers until you find a good one.  I had to do this until I got the correct Browser for my PC using windows 8.1

Firefox was the one I was using with my old puter and that is useless with the new one. Chrome is jumpy too.  IE is pathetic.  Comodo dragon I settled with. Just about a perfect meter.

Have you got Adblock? that will stop the adds and vids loading on your screen. Well I say loading in...but you can't see em.

I was also Hammering Wgt to fix the meter probs.  If it was Wgt's fault then everybody playing the game will be having the same problem.
