  Not counting the 2 TruGolf couses WGT didn't make, it looks like WGT only added 2 courses in 1 year (so far) - 2011 - Congressional & RSG..

  was Bethpage Black 2010?

  No it was 2009 the same year that they had the U.S. OPEN

  And, pray tell, what good would that do? You cannot get 99% of people in the same room to agree upon what the time is.

  Secondly, along the same process we could form a WGTPA (Player's Association).

  Questions: 

   

  • What are you going to call it? You cannot use WGT or worldgolftour in the name.
  • How are you going to handle the social media site(s) when Corp. Attys from WGT threaten them with litigation and that/those site(s) shut your page down?

   

  And the "quoted comment" would solve what problem(s). If you interfere with a business by means of defamatory comments, you may find yourself sitting at the table to the left side of a Judge in a California Court room. And, guess who is going to win that case? 

  Which part(s) of the Terms and Conditions do you (generalized) not understand? You agreed to the T&C's set forth when you accepted membership. You  entered into a contract with WGT Sports by doing so. You have zero rights and even less say-so in how WGT conducts business. - WGT has all of them.

  Changes are inevitable and WGT is not obligated to tell any of us about them.

  Don't get me wrong. I am not a WGT crony. But, I am a business owner in California and understand all too well the laws of this state.

  Curious to hear your response after you consult an attorney.

  As you can see, I have a couple of issues accounts with the game but I do still enjoy playing.

  That's what I was thinking.  How can a person play for 3 weeks and know so much about the site?

  If it's a new 18-hole course then it must be Pebble Beach. We know they have been developing it. Bandon Dunes on WGT was only ever going to be a 9-hole par-3 course.

  Releasing a new course before Christmas would be brilliant, falling right in the middle of the dead time between US Open releases. They should do it every year.

  I think we all should take the game as it is now and not live in the past as quite a few of us are doing.  The more you worry about things that happening that you can't control, the more frustrated ya get.

  If there was a L100 BB 3 wood (or equivalent ), with the same forgiveness as the R1 Driver, I would buy it.

   I thought i throw in a hint, sorry....lol

  Valhalla would be a great stroke play course.

  Also I think Wgt should have got more T-Golf Courses.   Cabo and Whistler are pretty good.  I know cartoon courses as we called em, but I don't really notice it when playing em.

  You remember correctly Roger.  It was St. A. The Front 9 of St.A was released Feb 25th 2010 and then two and a half months later on May 14th, 2010 the back 9 was released.

  That's a good point.  I enjoy playing both and don't notice the graphics while playing them now.

  WGT still had to do quite a bit of work on the TruGolf courses.  What WGT didn't have to do is the photo shoot trip(s) and the PhotoShop work on each shot. (for one, the sky's are photoshopped on every WGT photo.) The still needed to organize the 100,000 or so Tru-Golf photos into the 18 holes of a full course, and to a lesser extent into the 9 hole CTTHs.  That's a lot of files with GPS coordinates specified for thousands of photos.  Then the creation of mini-maps for each hole and the mapping of fairway, rough, bunkers, and water has to be created. And then they need to test each course's play-ability and correct any errors.   I could speculate this as the reason we haven't seen more TG courses, it just didn't save much work.

  I'm leaning towards Pebble Beach in December as well Zags for a couple of reasons:

  • I can't see the year long Virtual Tour championship being played on a Par 3 course. (Bandon is an 18 hole course btw)  
  • Pebble Beach, next to Augusta, is the most wanted course by the players!

  Hmmm, come to think of it, since when do player's wishes matter to WGT?

  hpurey thank you for your diligence. I hope it is Pebble Beach, I love that course on other games. I just hope they get it right in their haste to get it out.

  They need to get Valhalla in the CC`s also
