There's nothing to delete because you don't download anything. Everything the game uses is passed to you every time you start a game.  Your machine does most of the work and getting that right takes a little patience sometimes.

There's a lot of helpful types in these forums and if you think you like the game and want to make it easier on yourself, ask for help. Provide some details like the type of computer you have, the browser you're using and the problems you are experiencing. There is no instant fix for a jumpy meter but it can be made right.

Start by looking at the system requirements tab above the Search box on the right of this page.

    Hello Allie2658.

Have you attempted to contact Customer Support in regards to the meter issues? You may wish to try some of the suggestions they have available such as playing in window mode, having only one tab open, and clearing your browser's cache.

The meter performance is affected by a multitude of variables and affects every player differently due to their location, internet service provider, computer, what is installed on the computer and the settings on the computer/ browser. We are working on several solutions which will make the meter more consistent or perform smoother in more conditions but we do not have a simple or catchall solution that we can release. We do and will continue to seek solutions.

But to be clear WGT does not have any control to vary the meters performance by time, type of game, round or stroke. We cannot target an individual nor a specific stroke.

If the meter is performing better or worse at a particular moment it is probably due to congestion between the server and your machine or the current CPU and RAM utilization on your computer.  We have found that most of the issues have to do with the amount of RAM you have and the CPU performance of your system. Running streaming music/video, itunes, anti virus scans, etc...   will noticeably degrade the performance of the meter.

With my shaking and jerking lately, I time the meter in reverse and mine is smooth. Age has a way of counter acting the situation. Go old man.

It's not a community wide problem.. As bad as I hate to say it for fear of jinxing myself, my meter is smooth as glass 99% of the time. It's not even speeding up close to the ding line like it used to.. go figure.

I play on an old Mac-Mini with the above stats and 95% of the time, my meter is fine. Open your task manager and check CPU usage and check it using different browsers also. If your under 10, you should be good.

If you use Chrome, test to see what Flash player works best. Sometimes pepperflash actually works better.

A lot of the problems have to do with Flash itself, including taking up lots of CPU.

Flash is on its way out anyways, next year or so HTML5 will be the go to system. Then we can all complain about that :-)
