Legend to Tour Legend

  I have a question maybe someone can help me with: I've been on WGT almost 3 years. I am a level 94 Legend with a 61.05 scoring average. I think I understand the game pretty well (percentages, hand-eye coordination, etc.). It seems to me that as I get closer to making Tour Legend, the game has really gotten harder (which is to be expected to some degree). I also have no problem owning up when I play bad, hit a bad shot, miscalculate a distance or club, etc.(which happens a fair amount of the time, I might add). But there are times when I know I've hit a good shot, and it ends up nowhere near a good shot. My question is: Is there a program/system in WGT that purposely messes with you/makes it more difficult as you approach Tour Legend? Lately I have hit all types of shots and hit the all-powerful-hard-to-attain 'ding' (I also know you don't always want to hit the 'ding' depending on wind, lie, elevation, etc.), and they immediately shoot way left or right, come up short, go long, etc. I love the game and don't want to sound like a whiner. Just trying to get some clarification. Thank You         Slicer26

  I found through all tiers, that as I got closer to tiering up, I got some latitude..

  Enter some RGs, you might be pleasantly surprised :)

   I agree with Andy.

  Another thing is, you have quite a few par 3's and 5's, and CTTH's, in your current history (how many you have before these, I can't see because your history only goes back so far). Those do not count in your 500 best rounds.

  Play a few harder courses like Oly or Pinehurst, etc. 

  As to your question: the closer you get to TL the harder it gets, is correct. You will see some deviations that you haven't seen before (don't let it deter you). The last .05 points for me (and others I'm sure) was extremely difficult and aggravating.

  Keep grinding....your stats look good.....play ranked rounds... forget the other stuff until you make TL and before you know it you'll be a TL......Good Luck.

  I am finding the same as Slicer, for a few days I will have my distances dialed in, can work out the wind and even putt reasonably. All seems good with the game and I can put some good scores in to keep the average ticking downwards. 

  Then for no particular reason, I can't get close to the pin anymore with my approach shots and I can't putt. I am using the same browser, I clear my caches regularly, doing nothing different at all. It just seems a switch has been thrown and for a day or so, it is all such a trial !!

  My average is 62.80, so a fair way from T/L. Is this just WGT's way of keeping me honest and making me get better kit, not falling for that one !! I find it so frustrating, but I know I can play through it and it will get good again. Does anyone else have the same trouble ?? Or is it just me  !!

     +1        Keep  at it  ,it ill come               I took me for ever  to get my average 60.90 to come down at the end .

  Here's a tip one of the really good players told me a long time ago.

  When things are going your way play a lot of ranked rounds. When the game seems to be against you back off, slow play for a few days till things are going your way again. Ive had spells when I couldn't make a 10ft putt for a week, very frustrating.
