    Dear WGT Team,

today I played a CTTH challenge on Wolf Creek and managed to compile 9 consecutive shots within 20 feet from the flagstick. Unfortunately I did not receive the according award. Why?

Here is the screenshot of my result:

I've been working on this award for quite some time, and now that I finally managed to succeed, I'm not awarded. This is extremely disappointing!

Unfortunately on hole #3 you were not actually on the green...  because it was on the fringe (although still less than 20 feet with the penalty) it does not count for the award.  I remember having the same issue while I was going for mine oh so long ago.

    Sorry.

Hey Wazuka, I notice you have been playing the Visit Wolf Creek Sweepstakes. You only get one sweepstakes entry no matter how many times you play, so you might want to switch to the November CTTH. It's at Wolf Creek and you might be able to earn a few credits - the score card you posted would have put you in the top 10 for the Master Tier so far.

Good luck on your accuracy streak quest!

Thanks so far for your replies. I already expected the answer that I did not hit the green on hole 3. However, the requirement for the award is:

Number of consecutive shots within 20 feet of the flagstick in Closest-to-the-hole games

It is not mentioned that you have to be on the green, only a certain distance to the flagstick is required. This was pretty important for my strategy, since being a bit too long on hole 3 (risking a lay on the fringe) is a lot easier than having to end up on the green.

It would be really nice if WGT could be more careful and exact with the formulation of award requirements. I wasted a lot of time by choosing the wrong strategy.

There is also another restriction that is not mentioned: the consecutive shots have to be in one single round. I shot 3 consecutive within 20 feet in the previous round followed by 8 in the next round, alltogether 11 consecutive shots within 20 feet. But only the 8 of the actual round have been counted for the award (chrystal).

BTW, my last shot on that round was an excellent hit, but ended up too short and 23 feet from the flagstick, whereas it usually is within at least 10 feet. The variations of the starter clubs are really huge and make it extremely hard to put together a perfect round, even if you hit every single shot excellent.

WGT, please read this - now it's really a bug report:

Finally, today I succeeded, as you can see here:

BUT, I did not receive the according diamond accuracy award. This has been a lot of work, and I am not rewarded. Please, dear WGT team, check it out! The result has been recorded in my score history.

Just a guess: the game stalled when I clicked the "view replay" button on hole 3 (I wanted to save this one, because it was nearly a hole in one). So I closed the window after waiting for some minutes, opened a new play window and continued the round. Maybe this is the reason that the number of consecutive shots has not been counted correctly?

    Hi Wazuka,

I am looking into it, but I don't know when/if it can be fixed on our end. I recommend that for now, you keep trying to get this award on other CTTP courses...
