Fooled AGAIN!!!

  I told myself this wouldn't happen again, but sure enough it did...

  How many people out there have been within ten feet of the pin, set up their putt, and then watched the ball fly halfway across the green?  What the heck?!?!?!?  Oh, it was set up on the 30 foot scale.  Geez, this has gotten me so...many...times.  I don't get it, why doesn't the game just give you the 10 foot scale within 10 feet?  This seems pretty obvious to me.

  Oh well, maybe THIS will be the last time.  But I doubt it.

  This may help. May not. 

  When I first started this game, I had a pretty crappy computer, so meter burp was a real issue. I started using mainly 50 or 100 scale for darned near every putt. The idea was to not give the meter as much time to burp. Anyway, the meter problems are long gone, but the habit of using the longer scales persists. Since I'm changing it for 99% of putts, it's just become habit.

  2 Pfennigs on this:

  1) a complete pre-shot routine is necessary for each and every shot, double precise execution on putts.

  2) On low meter putts, the meter runs slower than on full power. Therefore, I scarcely putt with more than 25% power => I always have to adjust the scale.

  I had a sand shot miss ding by about a half centimeter, and it went almost 90 degrees off.  The flight literally almost went dead right, instead of forward.

  It's called VEM, and it happens.  Fortunately, it's quite rare.

  We all take this pledge. It doesn't work regardless of how long you play here. The nutty thing about it lay at the feet of the "caddy". No one here can understand why wgt doesn't produce a caddy that provides good suggestions. It is really a dis-service to all new players. If wgt ignores the utility of this potentially helpful tool, they should eliminate it completely.   ~ SP ~

  Me too except for putts that have to be hit with 16 to 18 foot power which are near perfect for 30% on the 60 foot scale.

  Okay, I realise that the aim marker is easier to spot if it suddenly jumps to the middle of the screen as shown in my video, but if people miss click the minimap or the reverse camera when the aim marker is off the main screen, then it can jump to where you click and be obscured by the minimap. Just something to watch out for.  : )
