Only a very small portion of WGT members even look at this forum.  No way you will get a Boycott to come about by posting your wishes here.  Just WILL NOT be read by enough people to make any difference.

    you can always hope

I have a feeling that people are being fed cc passes to play this !

Certainly some noobs (Ams etc) that started WGT only days before contributed well, v well.  Can't expect them to do it all out of their own pocket.  Did well finding them :)

Yep, I counted at least 6 or more AM's that joined the club on the 29th

I'm pretty sure that those of us that dislike the way the clashes are being run ARE boycotting them already.

But those that are playing - well you're never going to persuade them I'm afraid.

Fools and their money are soon parted.  WGT just has no problem facilitating that.

What WGT lack in their bug fixing capabilities, they more than make up for with these money making ideas.

Here's an idea for you WGT.   For the next CC clash why not make the course Best of Water holes,  with high winds.    If these fools are willing to spend so much on passes for clashes,  they won't mind paying for extra balls too.

your are very right but it's still not fare to lower CC's and if they didn't have options to make free credits i wouldn't waste my hard earned money on playing this game. been playing almost 4 years and it's gotten worse over the past year

Patrick, I don't disagree with you or anyone else about the clashes being unfair, I completely agree.  I think the basic idea is really good but the format really sucks as it does benefit larger CC's with people willing to use their credits whether they have to buy them or not.  In addition, it also benefits larger CC's that have people with the time and/or ability to play often.

I agree with others that have said the "Clashes" need to be based on ability and skill.  I'm sure it wouldn't be the easiest thing to put together given the wide range of CC's because no matter what, the higher tiered players most often have an advantage.

Maybe something like team brackets would work based on tiers.  If a CC wants to play in a bracket for say Tour Masters, they can use players that are TM's or below.  Each player on the team has 24 hrs to play or the team forfeits.

There have been many suggestions that would work well but no matter what, not everyone will be happy.  We'll all still see posts how this and that aren't fair.

And not boasting but I've been lucky enough to not have to purchase credits in more than 2 years.  I do a lot of surveys, watch video's, won some match play tourneys, brackets and ready go's.  I've done the above pretty much when I started playing this game and have had a few good teachers along the way.

I have given this a lot of thought.

First you can't really limit how many players a CC can use in a clash. You can't let some CC members play in it and not let other members play.

What might be a fair way to hold the clashes is to have 3 or 4 different clashes going on at once.

1 for very small CC's under 50 members

1 for slightly larger CC's under 100 members

    1 for larger CC's under 200 members

and lastly 1 for the super large CC's over 200 members.

There still might be a lopsided matches but not nearly so bad as it is now where you could have a 250 member CC playing a very small CC.

Anyone think this idea might help the clashes?
