I have a feeling that people are being fed cc passes to play this !

Certainly some noobs (Ams etc) that started WGT only days before contributed well, v well.  Can't expect them to do it all out of their own pocket.  Did well finding them :)

I don't begrudge anyone who wants to play in a CC Clash, but I think those of us in smaller numbered clubs, realized after the first Clash, it was a waste of time and effort, with no chance to "win".

That said, if one of my CC mates wants to start a Clash, I have no issue with that, nor do I have an issue with a 250 member club banging out rounds...knock your selves out.

I simply won't play as it serves no purpose, whether I am on my free pas, or whatever...I just don't see the point.

But (again) if someone want's to spend 10 hours buying passes and playing, who am I to say otherwise?

I don't see anyone boycotting level 90+ balls etc, or level 97 irons, just because they are pricy, and others can't get to them (a in numbers of CC members vs rounds played), so WTF?  If someone wants to dump a few hundred, heck, a few thousand, credits...its going to happen.

I'll just wait till as mentioned..all clubs, or at least a vast majority, play on an even field.

for the life of me, I just don't get people that complain about a company making money especially since everyone here is using a computer.  The companies that make computers are making 10's of millions and I don't see any complaining about that.

Since there is complaining about a company making money, do you also complain about the company you work for or own?  The way I see it, this is really cheap entertainment that can be played from the comfort of your own home or wherever you wish.

WGT is not forcing anyone to purchase anything, spending money is purely optional and up to each individual.  Hell, there are even ways to get free credits so they actually pay you

For example a T Pro might be better of playing tourneys if they want XP or practice rounds for practice, taking their time, learning and maybe considering a free weekly / RG before they leave their tier.

That's what the CC's are for is to play practice rounds and tournaments. clash's are meant to challenge other CC's and WGT to make money from all the passes point blank no other reason, it's about the money, and the prizes are garbage too, putter and shot pal are useless and speed up boost was created so people playing RG's can play more games in shorter period of time which means more money. IT's all about the MONEY

your are very right but it's still not fare to lower CC's and if they didn't have options to make free credits i wouldn't waste my hard earned money on playing this game. been playing almost 4 years and it's gotten worse over the past year

You don't win putterpal and shotpal. Of course it's all about money. Did you think WGT was a charity? There's nothing wrong with a company trying to earn a profit.

I don't think any of us mind WGT making a good return.  Away from this "clash whatever" they could be introducing brackets, and CCs could make use of that etc. and other things just overdue.  Brackets (option for single or multiple play maybe) they could still make a good quid.   They never did any of that though, just went for the cheap $ on it's own, and no plans shown for anything else out of the many many things mentioned by the community.

If this silliness (JMO I know) were a side event go break a leg playing it all day long if it appeals.  Heck do that any way as no one should be trying to pressurise any one here, but on it's own it's a slap to too many IMO that's all.

Any one can dress it up how they like but if it were reviewed on a game site the word farce would be kind for this "clash", at least without other choices.

No one wishes WGT any harm but this whole CC XP through to the Clash just can't be long term IMO.  I can only assume they are hoping to clean up quick, and just maybe invest properly (long lists down to basics like testing equipment properly / getting comp rules clear before release ETC ETC) if they are still floating in a year.

I hope they are flourishing next year personally.  They are not looking good enough of the time though, and I don't see any good not simply calling that spade a spade.  All IMHO

folks its not about the money , of course wgt must make a profit . just like any company if don't they wont last long.

its all about finding a way to make the clash a fair playing field for ALL CCs. and there has been many deals on how to do this

if people keep playing this clash as it is, WGT will think why change this . but if everyone was to not play the next clash ( just 1 clash ) ..... then WGT would see that they MUST change the way this clash is working and make it fair for all clubs

Only a very small portion of WGT members even look at this forum.  No way you will get a Boycott to come about by posting your wishes here.  Just WILL NOT be read by enough people to make any difference.
